Metaphysical Healing Properties
The moon goddess energy is accentuated in the peach moonstone as it correlates to the Kundalini Serpent and embracing one’s sacred sexuality. The warm colour reminds us to be open and receptive to blessings in all forms. It helps us to strengthen feminine intuition as well as assisting us in cultivating a sense of divine timing as opposed to enforcing our will on others, especially within relationships. It helps us to balance our logic with our intuition and assists us in understanding emotional triggers. Traditionally moonstone has been used to harmonise the female reproductive cycle and ease all aspects of the female reproductive system including menstruation, fertility and childbirth. Moonstones are linked to the pineal gland, hence taking us from basal, primal desire to experience a more conscious and enlightened experience of our sexuality. Embrace the Goddess and the empowered feminine.
Harmonizes /Combines with: Pearl, white opal and white selenite.
History: Coveted by many ancient cultures and many believed the stone was created from moonbeams. Others strongly associated the stone's powers with the moon. The stone was especially prized during a full moon. Moonstone is thought to bring its wearer good fortune and feelings of love and affection. In the Orient, people believed Moonstones were actual rays of moonlight that had solidified, and that the shimmering light held within the stone was a good spirit that lived there. Hindus thought shimmering Moonstones to be earthbound bits of moonbeams and to this day the Moonstone is considered sacred. Due to its association with water, Moonstone is said to be protective of those at sea. It is also protective of those that travel at night, especially during New Moon phases, and was once called the “Traveler’s Stone”.
