History:
The name Rhodonite comes from the Greek word ‘rhodon’, or rose. This is a reference to its beautiful pink colouring, which can range from hot pink stones from Madagascar, to dusky pink stones from Canada or Peru

Other Descriptions: Rose Quartz is created when liquid magma from a volcanic explosion cools down and transforms into igneous rocks. During this cooling down period, silica acid bubbles shift from being a gas/liquid into a solid compound. Trace particles of iron, manganese, or titanium within the silica acid give Rose Quartz its pink colour.
