Runes are used as a method of connecting to one’s higher self, inner guidance and tapping into intuition as a method of foretelling what the future may hold and offering advice.
The Elder Futhark runes are a set of 25 symbols that were used for writing in Scandinavia and other parts of Northern Europe from about 200-800 AD.

Each set of Runes come in a gauze bag with a Rune meaning information sheet.

Rose Quartz:

Love, Gentleness, Healing

Chakras: All

Birthstone: Taurus, Libra

Colour: Pink

Oils/Herbs: Anise, Cedar wood, Nutmeg, Orange, Rose

Other Descriptions: Rose Quartz is created when liquid magma from a volcanic explosion cools down and transforms into igneous rocks. During this cooling down period, silica acid bubbles shift from being a gas/liquid into a solid compound. Trace particles of iron, manganese, or titanium within the silica acid give Rose Quartz its pink colour.

Metaphysical Healing Properties

The energy of this soft pink crystal resonates with some of the Great Heart-centred Masters that have incarnated to Earth, namely Jesus Christ, Kwan Yin and Amma. This vibrational quality awakens the Heart Chakra to its optimal frequency of Unconditional Love and Compassion. The energy is that of comfort and deep contentedness. Unconditional Love knows no boundaries, no creeds, no dogmas or judgements, hence is beneficial when we are struggling with forgiveness of self and others. Use this stone to remind yourself of your True Nature and when you are feeling in need of a Divine Hug! Rose quartz brings forth the frequencies of Grace and Service and calls us to love our neighbour as we would love ourselves. Rose quartz reminds us that acting from a place of Love with no expectations or demands is what is required to be in accordance with the highest principles.

Harmonizes /Combines with: All stones and specifically well with Rhodonite, Garnet

History: Archaeological evidence shows that Rose Quartz was used to make jewellery since 7000BCE. The oldest known example are Rose Quartz beads found in Mesopotamia (Iraq). Native American tribes occasionally carved amulets out of Rose Quartz, which they referred to as the “love stone.” The tribes believed that Rose Quartz helped to balance the emotions.
